I have a mixed environment here of Win95 & Win98 clients with NT4.0 servers.
As part of a new security program, i am removing usernames from the "Client for microsoft networks" logon box.
I have pushed out a Reg file with the following key: HKLM\Network\logon\"DontShowLastUser" = 1
The problem is that this actually only works with 98. My 95 clients retain the user name.
As an alternative i have tried HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Winlogon\"DontDisplayLastUser" = 1, this also has not worked.
I would like to avoid rolling out TweakUI, and would rather the reg hack instead.
Any and all help appreciated
