How to Remove NT4 BDC from Active Directory

I upgraded to Win 2000. Still running in mixed mode. I have a NT4 BDC that was not even connected to the network at the time of the upgrade. It shows up in active directory as a domain controller. AD will not let me delete or remove it from the domain controllers group. The NT4 BDC no longer exists. How do I get rid of it?

I also have one more NT4 BDC on the network that I do not plan on upgrading. I there a procedure for decommissioning BDC's?
