Hi, I need to add an NT4 server to our Windows 2000 DNS.

Is there an EASY step-by-step quide as to how to do it.

Cheers Arcservertherapy

My guess, the simplest solution is to add a "host" record within the DNS setup of the Windows 2000 server.

This can be done in the following way (making as few assumptions as possible)

Once you have added this record, try pinging the "host" name of the NT4.0 server from a PC that uses your Win2k server for DNS. If the host name is resolved to the IP address and you receive a response then the entry has worked.

Good luck.
