Gday,

I've changed the datasource of my report so it is pointing to a different database.

When I refresh my data, it is still showing the data from the old datasource. Looking in the Show SQL Query, it is pointing to my old database, but when I look in Database Expert it's pointing to the new database.

I have done a Verify Database. How can I force an update of the Show SQL Query or force the report to use my new datasource? I'm using ODBC to SQL Server 2000 databases.

cheers

If this is for CR 9 or higher, try going to the Database menu > Set Datasource Location > in the upper window, expand each of your tables/procedures, and for the 'Overridden Qualified Table Name' property, type the name of the table/procedure.

For CR 8.5 and lower, go to Database > Set Location, and as you click on each table/procedure, change the Table to only the table name (remove any 'DBName.dbo' references).
