Hi!

Standard within our company all outlook maps are formatted with mails displayed as 'grouped'.
Every time I must change them to have them 'ungrouped'.
I will make a macro for that but have not enough knowledge of VBA for that.
Is there a way as the macro-recorder in MSword?
Or can anyone give me a 'how to do' hand?

Kind regards,
-Bart

There is NO macro recording capability in Outlook. You can not record macros in Outlook, period. All Outlook VBA code is written.

You can start by searching for Outlook threads here. There are some, and many may help you to get some idea of how to start.

You can also look at the Outlook Object Model Seeing the object model can be very helpful. Although the Outlook model is massive and very odd at times. Well, not really more odder than Word...sort of, kind of...oh, never mind. It is a Microsoft object model. 'nuf said.

For some very handy general VBA code snippets, including ones for Outlook, check out VBA Programmers

Good luck.

Fumei,

Thanks for your reply,
The problem is that my knowledge of VBA is to less.
I do know the outlook-object while I do automation Outlook-Visual Foxpro.

{quote]my knowledge of VBA is to less[/quote]Huh?

Not sure what that means. In any case, you are still stuck with writing any VBA for Outlook.
