Internal user is asking me to set up a system in order to maintain a copy of all messages that each user receive and send from the corporate e-mail account.

A lot of companies already monitor emails. We are not a legal advice board, we are a tech help board. Remember that the company has a right to protect itself too.
There is a way you can monitor individual mailboxes or distribution lists in Ex2k in the properties for the Mailbox store, I've never used it though.
There is an easy way indeed Cuba, and has been posted here several times, so a little looking around will bring it up.
And sorry, but where you are wrong is to say a company has a right to protect itself.
That by itself, I could not agree more, BUT, the company must protect itself FIRST by letting EVERYONE know very clearly they are going to monitor mail.
And it is that part that is taken for granted and what we want to point out.
Then you thought wrong.
As sad as it may be, the law protects the individual's privacy too, even at a workplace.
And if it ever gets to court, the individual usually wins!
(There may be countries where it does not apply of course)
