In MONK, you can prune from right to left using the prune button. Does anybody know of a way to prune an "in-between" node while preserving its subnodes?
Pick up the subnode(s) that you want to keep with the wheel of the mouse (or by clicking the two mouse buttons at the same time), transfer them (temporarily) to any other node. Delete the node that you don't want any more; then pick up the subnode(s) again in the same way and drop them where they were (or rather in the place that the parent node(s) occupied).
