I own a machine that has windows 98 se. Is there a way to create a guest user account for windows 98 se?

I want to prevent that guest user account from installing programs and altering my settings. Any idea would be great. Thanks.

I believe Windows 98 does not know how to do that. Even if you could configure something with the default Windows tools, given that any logon can be cancelled and you will still get full control over the PC means that Win98 does not know a thing about logon security.
Typically, it requires a 3rd-party tool to do what you want.

About the closest thing you'll find for 98 is poledit.
