I have a program running on my NT4 SP6a server which is supposed to run as a service but due to bugs only runs properly when run as an application by a logged-in user. I don't mind leaving myself logged-in permanently until the problem is sorted out, but I find that I get logged-out automatically after a certain period of time (I don't know how long, but it's within 24 hours). I am not aware of any applications running which would cause this.

Assuming this is an OS issue, does anybody know how I can prevent the system logging me off automatically?

Thanks a lot.

Assuming no overriding group policies and not on AD.

User Manager. Double click on the user to open the user properties. Make sure you log on hours are set for 24/7.

Cheers.

I should have explained I tried that already. There is no restriction on hours, and no other restrictions.

Thanks.
