how do i network windows98 and a G4 macintosh. specifically, what services do i need to install?

I don't know much about Mac's, but TCP/IP might be the best bet. If you want settings for Win 9x, let us know. In Win9x the simplest setup would be using NetBEUI, but it's a Microsoft protocol so Mac's may not support it.

The easiest way to do it, is to get a copy of PCMacLan, which you install onto your PC and it allows you to use Appletalk (the native Mac network language). You will also need a Cat5 crossover lead and away you go.....
