Dear Experts,

I want to move my windows 2003 server to another computer. To achieve this goal, I installed Windows 2003 server on another HP server and installed it as a windows 2003 member server.

Now when i unplug new Windows 2003 member server from network, I am not able to see Active Directory Users.

Please help me how to accopmlish this task

Thanks
Saif

What type of server are you trying to relocate? A domain controller or a member server? In either case I suggest doing a full backup of the server you wish to move and restore the backup onto the new system.

hi drew1701d

I am trying to replicate Domain Contrller AD to Member server. when I disconnect Member server from network and try to open "Active directory Users and Computers" i received the following error

"Naming information cannot be located because:
The Specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
contact your system administrator to verify that your domain is properly configure and is currently online"

I have another Member Server on my network, AD is fully replicated on that server and i can see Users on this server which is not on network by Active directory Users and Computers.
