I am currently running an ISA standalone server but want to move it to a new server with the same name.

Is there a way to do this without manually configuring it again?

I've been using ISA since it came out and I've never seen it done. Can't find anything on MS either.

There's a back up and restore possibilty with ISA Server, but I have not used them, so I cannot tell you how well it works.

Right click your ISA server and select back up. If you have spare hardware give it - restore - a try here first.

Also, there's a tool on which let's you export ISA settings and then import them. Never tried this tool either.

BUT: Do TRY out first.

I've used the backup/restore util, and it works just fine.
At least in my case.

Wondering if anyone has successfully moved ISA to a new server and how you did it. I'd rather not start from scratch if possible.
