Monitor installs, configs - via audio & video methods, etc?

I recall video equipment companies with video recorders & RGB connectors, etc. that can connect to the PC monitor being recorded. This will not slow down or interfere with the PC. With a microphone, one can narrate the screen activity. Also you can use a camcorder, but may not be as convenient. Laptops may be trickier.

and again, placing a STATEMENT without posting a question, is kinda ODD and usually leads to weird things being posted as responses... but since I had followed the OLD link (which you could have used to place that statement and a Question, instead of creating a new thread) I can only offer the following as a possible solution:

To monitor if your Audio and Video are properly installed and working.

1. Ensure that the Cards are well fixed to the board, taking safty precaution first.

2. On the PC, Insert the installation CD and run the .exe

3. Check Hardware Properties in Control Panel if they are are properly installed and working OK. If no uninstall and install again if it is not compatible to the OS.

ogwueze, welcome to the Forum, but I do not see where your answer fits the NON SPOKEN/WRITTEN question posed by the OP...

Your answer is for installing drivers, which clearly is not stated at all by the OP, and it is for a beginner with no knowledge of the subject...

so in the future, read the OP, think... and then post an answer if you are able to help...

Ben, thanks. That was exactly the device type I recall. Minimal installation / hookup with both audio & video recording - excellent.

There are no boards - what do you mean? Ben you nailed him.

"To monitor if your Audio and Video are properly installed and working." - I said to record the PC not check if audio & video are working - apparently you don't understand the context of the message and/or English very well - Please.

Ben - sorry, I was in a hurry and forgot to ask in Question form. Oops.
