How to monitor mailboxes

Hi all,

How is it possible to monitor emailboxes on Exchange 5.5? I would like to monitor all incoming/outgoing internal/external mail. I have enabled MAX logging of MSExchangeIMC in all Categories. I am getting some logs, but almost think Im getting more then I need in some aspects and not enough in others. What's the most efficient way to do this? The purpose it to track a user suspected of abusing our email system - logs will prove exsessive use and abusive behavior. Thank you in advance...

I would use message tracking to identify what is going on. You can't track outside of the site, but you will be able to see where it came from, who it went to, etc.

Is there anyway to monitor outside of the site (by this I assume you mean Internet bound email?)
