I was wondering what are some ways to monitor a web server to make sure everything is working. I use the basics of using the perfmon and MS suggestions for polling. Just wondering what others do to make sure everything is running properly and the inetinfo.exe is running....Thanks

guess no one care that their web site is up 24/7...i dont feel so bad lol

Your guess is wrong. The people are using various methods for tracking IIS activity.
As you said, you can have with Perfmon a lot of options, even to send you a message when some values are reached.
If you are afarid that IIS could crash, tghen you have the services , and the recovery tab there. Set what ver option you want there (restart IIS, launch a batch file,. etc).

Nobody will give you a receipe for this. It depends on the way you planned your network.

Thanks Gia, I have the NET SEND commands set. I was kidding about no one caring about there website, as a person like me caring about there site, I am always one to agggressively try and do more and more and more and more to make sure of ther 24/7 like everyone else....i also know not everyone will give there tips how too as well........that one tip that someone could provide could be my break through versus when the site is down when no thresh hold is broken (currently)..... oh hum....
