From the design window, select the fields in question with a right click and select format, then select "suppress if zero". Software Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine

Greets,

How do I make a text object suppress/invisible if a certain field is empty or null?

thanks

Puitar,

Right click the object and select format. Then there is an "X-2" button to the right of the suppress checkbox. (All "X-2" buttons are for conditional formatting) Click this button and you will be able to construct a formula. In your case the formula will be like the following:

IsNull({fieldname})

Then the object you are formatting will be suppressed whenever {fieldname} is null. Software Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine
