Is there any way to make a Powerpoint slide show start automatically when you doubleclick the file? Or if it is a link on a webpage?

Hi kymmiko,

Just save the PowerPoint presentation as a .PPS file (PowerPoint slide show). Double-clicking this file starts the slide show right away.

Cheers!

Hmm I think I tried that and it didn't work. I shall double check again.

Thanks for the response!

Hi Kymmiko,

Try this , right click a .pps file it should open a window
where you should see open with, select that option, look for PP, and select always use this app for opening files like this

Hope this works

Hi again,

What happened when "it didn't work"? i.e., I'm wondering whether your double-clicking the PPS file started PowerPoint, or gave some other error message, or did absolutely nothing at all, and so on.

But do try again - it SHOULD work! :)
