How do I take a user control and make a dll of it?

I suppose the easiest way would be to create a class library project, and add the control

depends if you have the professional (visual studio)version then you should be able to compile it as dll (dont ask me how i dont have the pro version)

in hte standard version you will have to do it via your dos console (cmd)

something like

vbc.exe /target:library myclass.vb

Good tip, Christiaan. I was unaware, as I don't use standard.

oh, well.

If you don't have the money then you have to make due with the cheapest option and look for the workaround and every limitation the standard version has has a work around.

thanks

Thanks everyone for your replys. I found a solution by George Poth on devcity.net that shows you how to change the .vbproj using Notepad.
