I am trying to configure a W2K server to lock after a specified idle session time (on a remote Terminal Server Client/Remote Desktop session or local session) I assume I can do this through local or group policy but I can't find it, can anyone help?

Go to Administrative Tools > Terminal Services Configuration. Right-click on the connection, select Properties, go to the Sessions tab, and all of the options are there.

Thanks for that. I'm wondering if there is a way to set a session idle time before the session locks regardless of how the connection is made(i.e either logging on locally or by any remote connection software)
