how to keep imageready from adding "spacers" when i make images slices

If by "spacers" you mean blank images in between your slices, you can't. What ImageReady does is slice the entire image into a table format. The spacers are empty table cells where you don't have content. If you get rid of them, the whole table would be screwed up. Does that make sense?
