Hi Everyone!

I want to configure Contact Recorder with Installed VMPro.

I already have the license of VMPro Recording Administrator. I am just new to Avaya please help me with following.

My question is do I have to install the contact recorder software on the existing Machine of VMPro (Which is installed on Windows 7 Virtual Machine) if yes where I can download the Software (I don't have SSO login).

If no need for the software what configuration I have to make to utilize the license for Recording the calls.

Please help me!!!!

Regards,

Tahir

Contact Recorder is part of AppServer which runs Linux.
This also contains VM Pro so you would change your current VM Pro to AppServer.

I would suggest you cal in your maintainer

installing contact sore on windows is not a trivial task & probably needs the current VM removing so you can install the pre-requisites

Hi Everyone,

Thank for the replies.

@janni78 I don't want to have the AppServer, can't I install Contact Store on Windows System?

@IPGuru I have installed VMPro at my own, so If it needs to be reinstalled its also fine for me. Can you help me with Installation instructions and pre-requisites to me installed and also the contact store installation package. It would be a great help.

Thanks!

@Shekhar Bhanot hi dear you saved my life, its a great help.

Thanks!!!

Hi Everyone,

I have successfully installed the contact store and its recording as per expectations. Thank you all for the support.

But I am having one issue with playing the recording, I am not able to play the recording from the webaccess, but the record files are there on the drive and I can able to play on VLC player.

I have tried with Different Browsers like Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozila Firefox etc. but the result is the same.

Please help me solve the issue!!!!

Thanks in advance!

your contact store has not been correctly installed
as previously advised Call in your maintainer unlike VM Pro it is not a trivial application to install (the time you have waisted has already cos more then the cost of doing things properly)

I had the same problem with the browsers. Managed to get the Internet Explorer 11 to work, but I had to install the add-on from verint systems but it only seemed to work with IE.

Only IE is supported

IE seemed to work to play recordings but I was unable to download file to desktop (went through motions with file name and location in Contact Store) but when you look in folder there is no file visible. If I try to download another recording I can see the previous file in Contact Store but again when viewing in the folder on the local PC, no files.

contact store compresses the recordings so you won't find them stored just like that.

BUT

please start a new thread if you have an issue.
You can refer to the old thread with a link so that people can look at it but then chances to find it in the future double when someone searches for a solution for a similar problem
