how to import dbx files into clean boot of win2k 1

I have just loaded win2k into a new computer and have got all the dbx files from the old computer, however I am stuck :-(

When I try to import the files into outlook express (OE) v.6 there seems to be no option in OE to import dbx files. I would like to eventually import them into Outlook XP from OE, but I have to get them into OE first of all.

can someone please, please give me a clue how this can be done?

When you select File-Import-Messages-Microsoft Outlook Express 6, click NEXT and select the option to 'Import main from an OE6 store directory', then OK. Browse to the folder where your DBX files are located and the software is intelligent enough to identify them and offer you the option to import all or just the ones you select.
