How to get right hyperlink in MS-word2000?

Dear Sir,
In a MS-word file, I see this line:

{HYPERLINK "

http://www.sohu.com/"}

All hyperlinks cannot be showed properly in this computer's MS-word2000 file, with just sth like above.

But I have tried many ways to get real hyperlink in those "doc" files, even after I have reinstalled office2000.

Your kind help would be very appreciated.

Maybe this from the Word Help file will help:

Switch between field codes and results
Do one of the following:

To show or hide the field code for a specific field, click the field or the field results, and then press SHIFT+F9.
To show or hide field codes for all fields in the document, press ALT+F9.
