Just create an ODBC entry (Microsoft txt, csv) that points to the folder where your CSV file resides and then have Crystal connect via the ODBC.

I used access/excel(ADO) connectivity and pulled the .csv file into my crystal report and it gives the data as column headings and I'm sure its not showing the data in the right way.
when I convert the same into an ecxel file, it doesn't show any data when I used that excel file in my report.

I can't create my own dsn as I don't have the Crystal reports locally installed but I access it through web.

Any suggestions please?!!

Are you pulling the CSV file from an AS/400 program? If so, the data does not always come out neat. You will have to go into the csv file and look browse each row to see if there are page breaks and headers that get passed along with the raw data. If this is the case you should talk to the AS/400 programmers who send out these files and make sure there are no headers or page breaks in them because it will save you alot of time.

I have no idea from which database this data is saved to a .csv file because it comes to us from some out source. We need to see this data in .csv in a crystal report.

Please help!!
