how to get a xp pro machine to use active directory win 2000

How do get you active directory on on a xp pro client on a winodws 2000 server domain? Cannot get this to work. I installed adminpak.msi for win 2003 server so I am baffled. Says the location cannot be found when trying to browse. Thanks

never mind. as previous threads mentioned i wasnt pointing at the local dns server ip. great forum!
