I have a subform that is sorted so the most recent date is at the top of the form. The problem in that the blank field to add another record is still at the bottom of the form. Is there any way to make it so the add new record part is at the top?

If your form has navigation buttoms on the bottom, then regardless of where you are at in scrolling through the form you can add a new record by selecting the asterisk on the navigation bar. If this is not what you are looking for then explain a little more about what you are trying to accomplish.

Jerry

Blitz,
This is not possible using the standard Access datasheet-style subform. It's part of the low-level control design, and currently not configurable. You can, if it is worth the effort, create a suitable workaround, there are several different ways to do this, which you may already be aware, but if you'd like a few suggestions, let us know...
--Jim
