Suggestions for fixing bad sectors during defrag. Is there another way other than constantly sitting there hitting fix through large sectors?
Thanks,
PINKHOUSE

Agreed that mounting it as slave or additional drive on another system is one way to go. Alternative is to get a new drive up and running on the current machine and then dragging data off the old drive as slave/additional. Depends on whether the machine is going to be rebuilt or junked, and whether there is a convienent second system available. The second system method is going to require the data to be transferred twice if the machine is going to be ressurected.
A lot will depend on pinkhouse's level of understanding of how to go about it. I take no stand either way, just provide some alternate solutions.
