Hi,

Can I find out whether or not a Meridian option 11C PBX has CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) installed by using some commands in some load?

Thank you!

You'll need Meridian Link (End of Life) or Symposium Link for CTI.

You'll know if you have these...Link is a module that sits in the PBX, SLink is a server base soln.

Do you mean if I have Meridian Link or Symposium Link in PBX, then I definitely have CTI in PBX as well? How do I find out whether or not I have Meridian Link or Symposium Link in PBX? Thanks.

You'll know if you have these...Link is a module that sits in the PBX, SLink is a server base soln...if you're onsite and looking at the PBX, remotely you're not going to know.

The Symposium will require package CCS100. You cannot order or buy MLink from Nortel anymore...

On the PBX you'll need AST license. Go to LD 22 and type SLT at the REQ prompt. Look for the line that say AST. Or, go to LD 23 and look at the LD header.

Your CTI integration will be utilizing the MLSM on the Symposium to communicate with the PBX over the AML

The PBX doesn't provide the CTI application. It will provide messaging for a CTI application (ie. Genesys Tserver or Touch Paper).

SCCS will have the Symposium Link imbedded in the software, or you can use MLink, but good luck trying to get support.

Your CTI engine will need to point to the Link and AST licenses are needed on the phone keys you want to report on.
