I want to know if I can look at a directory that is about 50G and I want to remove some stuff. I want to find files that have not been accessed for a long period of time (so I can remove them)

Is it possible to do a search for such a type of file, I know you can find ones that have been accessed but I want to find the files that havn't

Thanks

In Explorer select View, Choose Details..., and checkmark Date Accessed.

Then click this title in the header bar of explorer to sort by Date Accessed. If you click twice it will change the sort order from most recent to oldest first.

In any case, you can then do block deletes if you choose using either the Shift key or CTRL key shortcuts for selecting more than one item.

Remember too that you can have XP compress older files to save disk space.

If it is just one folder, you can select [Details] and then line them up by date modified.
