How to export data to Excel or Word

I am pascal veteran and know not much of VB (don't want too either), but I need to export data to excel, so my clients can make their own graphs, despite my Teecharts look very cool (in my opinion).
I encountered one of these little treasures which speeds up development in the book:
Desenvolvendo Aplicacoes com Delphi 6, from Bruno Sonnino which I have adapted.
The method describes how to export a dataset to excel without knowing too much VB. The same method can be used for Word.
