How To Enable Switch Manage

I have a Cisco 2950 switch that I can't access from a web browser. I did not setup the switch so I think the person that did disabled the web interface. I would like the command line syntax to enable it. I am running this version of firmware "Version 12.1(9)EA1". I have heard that Cisco switches have problems when the web interface is enabled rebooting the switch all the time. Has this problem been fixed with the firmware I am running?

ip http server

but you might not have the web files on the switch. you might have to download them and put them on.

quickly, there are 3 paks,
1. ios only
2. webfiles
3. combo ios,webfiles.

You will also need to have Java Plug-ins installed to your machine that you want to access the switch from - it is something like jdk 1.4 (can be downloaded from the Sun Microsystems website)
