Hi, I'm working on this trunk but I have this issue enabling the bchannels.

What I need to do to enable it?

ld 96

.enl 101

Any Help?

I have done this:

ld 96
.dis tmdi 004 0 03 all

.enl tdmi 004 0 03
OK
.

Everything went Ok until today.

In an aport to the community, I have to say this:

When you make any change in the Asterisk box, using the web browser, You will have circuit busy. To fix this, just type this two commands in the cli:

asterisk CLI> dahdi restart
asterisk CLI> pri intense debug span 1

everything will run as a top model in the pasarella!

Than you for your kind help!

You should probably force download the TMDI

Now one only thing:

How to assign an access code for this trunk from the CS1K side?

Im having circuit busy in the Nortel.

Any help?

When you built your route you assigned an access code.

The result is:

The access code is 6000 but when I try 6000NPANXXXXXX is not working. The RLI made for this trunk is RLI 5.

How can I fix this?

What happens if you just dial 6000? Do you get a fast busy? If so then remove the TARG from the route or make the TGAR on your test phone 0

I did it but it still fast busy.

Any ideas?

My guess is the Nortel and Asterisk are still not synced up properly. Look at your channels again in LD 60 and stat your D-Channel in LD 96.

All incoming calls are working very well. I have a IVR working with this route, all DIGITS NXXX are working well.

Only Outgoing calls are not working with 6000 ACOD

why don't you set up TSC (trunk steering codes) to dial from the Nortel to the Asterisk? Then you don't have to worry about dialing the Access Code.

LD 86
Create a new DGT. You don't have to insert or delete any digits, just set CTYP to NCHG

LD 86
Create new RLB. Make sure you point this to your route and put in the DGT

LD 87
Create a new TSC that points to the RLB you make.

Now you can just call the number on the Asterisk.

or you could start with removing the TARG on the Asterisk route to ensure that there are no restrictions to dial the ACOD.

Or you could use a maintenance set to direct select the trunk and call. This will tell you if the calll path is correct and then you know its settings in the Nortel....i mean Avaya

I have created a new DSC 88 to reach that route.

Im dialing out to the asterisk side successfully, but the issue is with the digits longitude.

Im receiving this in the asterisk side:

PRI Span: 1 > 0 bytes of data
PRI Span: 1 Done handling message for SAPI/TEI=0/0
Span 1: Processing event PRI_EVENT_RING
-- Span 1: Extension 8880922011@default does not exist. Rejecting call from '3325'.
PRI Span: 1 q931.c:6837 q931_hangup: Hangup other cref:23
PRI Span: 1 q931.c:6594 __q931_hangup: ourstate Call Present, peerstate Call Initiated, hold-state Idle
PRI Span: 1 q931.c:6085 q931_release_complete: Call 23 enters state 0 (Null). Hold state: Idle

How can I increase the digits longitude to be passed to the other side?

I just sending 8 digits to the asterisk side.

Any help

My route access code is 88

What do you need to see from the Asterisk side? What number are you trying to reach? Not what are you dialing.

Example:

Nortel Extension 1234 is trying to dial Asterisk Extension 5678.

I need to send 10 digits to the other side but it is just sending 8 digits after the access code
Im dialing in nortel side

88 NXX NXX XXXX

And the nortel is stripping two digits
88 NXX NXX XX

88 809 220 11

Any idea?

So you need to dial;

8880922011 - this is the number on the Asterisk that you are trying to reach?

go to LD 96

.enl msgi XX (XX is the dchannel number on the loop)
.enl msgi XX (XX is the dchannel number on the loop)

Make a test call and post what happens here. This is a dchannel trace and will show us what is being pulsed out.

To turn this off

LD 96

.dis msgi XX
.dis msgo XX

But post your information here.
