Need to get the director and SVP elements from table 2. The problem that I'm having is that my query is repeting the cost center due to the multiple occurences in Table 2. I would like cost center from table 1 and the director and SVP from table 2. Only one to one occurence.

Any suggestions, please.

Table1
costcenter (unique)

Table2
costcenter (not unique - multiple occurence)
director
SVP

and how do you know which of the many occurances in Table2 is the one you want to return? the highest ID field in Table2? Is there some date field and you want the latest/earliest date?
