I have a form with two subforms. I would like to be able to drag a record from a subform and write that data to a table. Is this do-able.

I Played with this a little, and it all depends on what you want to do. If you are going single view to continous or single to single, you could use MS Form Control text boxes instead of Access text boxes which have drag and drop capability. This will give you the drag and drop feel, but you are still going to have to do an append query or something similar to copy the actual record. These controls do not work in continous form view for drag and drop
I tried the simulated drag and drop, and did not really like it. You would have to play with the windows API to get the text to float as you drag it.
My choice. Is a double click event. Double click on a specific record to copy it to another location. Less cumbersome then drag and drop. Personally I like to build two multiselect list boxes and allow you to send information back and forth between the two lists. This works like the Access Form's wizard where you can add or subtract fields.
