Hi !
I need to buy a new PDA. I am wondering wether or not displaying (maybe even modify) DBF files is possible.
So I should like to get some advice about displaying VFP-files on a pocket-pc (PDA) and which PDA's (no makes asked for, just the requirements) are able for that.

Have you tried the Keyword search on "pocket PC"? If you do you will find this post thread184-524024

Bart,

In general, pocket and hand-held PCs don't support VFP, although there might be software available which supports DBF files.

A couple of exceptions. Some PDAs have a DOS emulator. It might be possible to run a Foxpro for DOS application on them (although I have never heard of anyone doing that). Also, tablet PCs run under Windows XP and can therefore support VFP (although tablet PCs don't really come under the heading of pocket PCs).

Mike M,
Yes I've read that threat before but hoped on some new developments.

Mike L,
I agree that I don't expect to stop back to dos-environment.

A general solution to use my data might be by using EXCEL as kind of interface.
