How to display custom Group Axes in Chart

Hi,
I need a Bar Chart in my report. The Chart should display Amount on Y-Axis and date on X-axis. But i want that the date label should display only first date of month.
e.g.
20-|
|
10-|
|
0-|
-------------------------------------------------
| | | |
01-08-02 01-09-02 01-09-02 01-10-02

I want bottom date labels as above graph.
but my graph is showing every date as below.

|
10-|
|
0-|
--------------------------------------------------
| | | | |
01-08-02 02-08-02 03-08-02 04-08-02 05-08-02

So please tell me how i show the first date of month at X-axis.

If you have a true date field, CR will let you group by month, which will allow you to chart a column for each month.

Hi,
I want that the chart should display bar for every date (i want to see the amount for every date). But on X-Axis labels i want to display only first date of the month.

So please tell how i do this.

Hi,
I am using Crystlal.NET reports. Crystal reports Designer comes with VS.NET. I am using XSD for designer and XML as a datasource.

Here is as close as I think you can get:

I am not sure if .NET has this exact property, but if you open the chart analyzer, and then right click on the dates below the chart you can select:

Format Chart
Grid
Group Axis Tab (on the left)
Label tab (on top)

Here you can set the number of groups between labels to 30 which will be close to once per month.

I got your point,
Yes it is there, But it is approx and if month is 31 days than the date label will come 31-08-02 which is lasr date of the month.

this is the last solution if it is not possible to set the first date of the month.
If you have exact solution please reply.
