I'm using Crystal Report automation server as my report engine and I added a Linked Bitmap Image Object in my report to display the company's logo. This image logo need to be changed dynamically depending on which company/client/user the report is used. This is the reason why I linked the bitmap image instead of embedding it directly to the report. Now my problem is whenever the report is run, the end-user will always get the "Updating ActiveX Objects" progress/message window which is somewhat clumsy and undesirable to look at. Anybody here knows how to disable this "ugly" window???? I already searched through the archive in this newsgroups and searched in the Crystal Decision knowledge base but to no avail... Too bad,
client needs this problem solved asap...

Thank you very much for all your help.

I actually don't mind the box, but it errors out when I try to display the report from ASP (via the COM Control). So I swithched from Automatic to Manual updating, but I haven't figure out how to manually update the report via the Control (I can only do it if I open the report in CR). I don't think anybody knows much about any of this. Good luck....
I imagine you're not doing this through ASP/COM, because you probably wouldn't get this far....
