How to disable or clear password

Hi,

On my Windows NT machine, when I map a drive, I think the password is cached somewhere. When the remote mapped machine changed the new logon passwd, I cannot login anymore with the new password. What can be done?

Have you deleted the mapping for the drive first - then recreated it? (did you map via explorer or command prompt with net use?). Do you know net use has a /delete parameter?

Yes, I deleted the mapping for the drive, then recreated. I mapped via Windows Explorer.

I didn't know net use has a /delete paramenter.
