Hey guys,

I'm a newbie to IIS. I just setup a new web site and you can access it fine, my only problem is when you try to access it, it promts you to login with a username and password. How do I get rid of that so anyone from any where can go directly to the site???? I have tried adding different users to have access to the site but it only lets me choose from local and domain users. I'm not even sure if that is where I should be looking to solve this issue. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It appears to to a security setting problem, I maybe wrong, though. Try this:

Open your ISM, highlight the name of the wesite in question, Right click it, go to Properties.

Click Directory Security tab, at the first section: Anonymous Access and Authentication Control, click Edit.

Select only Anonymous Access , uncheck other two. Click OK.

Hope above helped. It's not about whether you can do it or not, it's about HOW
OK, Let's Do It !!! [pipe]
