Hello !

Does anyone out there know of a way to TEMPORARILY disable Dr. Watson ??

We have a job that runs to a certain point, and then a Dr. Watson Access Violation window pops up, and the job ends.

We want to test to see if the job would run all the way through if Dr Watson is disabled...to help us troubleshoot this problem. We want to turn Dr. Watson back on after our test.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you

All Dr.Watson does is generate an error log when an application crashes.

Disabling it won't change the fact your application has crashed. [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K

You can try the following:

Stop - Run - drwtsn32.exe

Turn off Visual Notification.

This will turn off the visual notification but it will still be logged. The program should still keep running.

Hope this works.
