If you're looking for built-in system commands, take a look at an NT command, "net statistics", which apart from providing all the vital network stats also shows the startup time of an NT server or workstation.
"net statistics server |more" for server side stats
"net statistics workstation |more" for workstation side stats
The "|more" part is important here as the start time is displayed at the top of the command output.
Please help. I am using Microsoft's uptime.exe v1.01. I would like to use uptime.exe, however, with a text file of target servers. I have heard that this can be done with the /f switch. (uptime.exe /f:FILE_NAME) The v1.01 version that I have does not have the /f switch, but I think Microsoft's v2.00 does. I can not seem to find v2.00 any where. Version 2.00 supposedly has the capability to pipe its output to a csv file.
Does anybody know where I can find Microsoft's uptime.exe v2.00? If not... do you have any other suggestions on how I can use the command against a list of servers?
