how to derive a service from an *.exe

does anybody know, how i can register a new service, wich runs user independend (user: SYSTEM)?

I've used this in the past it might be what your after.

It is a MS app but i can't find it on their site anymore, you can get it from here tho.

sorry, that wasn't what i was looking for, since i cannot be logged in. but i found the "resource kit" for microsoft windows 2000 wich allows you to create user-defined services. more @

but, unfortunatelly, my prog does not work as service. i guess it's something about the engine or the objects.

if somebody came across this problem, i would appreciate a hint.
