How to delete client from netbackup server

Hi everyone,

After upgrading one of my NB client to a new server, how do I remove the existing client or update the client list on the netbackup server(running on Solaris). I'd tried to remove the policy and create a new one for the new machine but was prompt that I'd would exceed the max. client limit.

If you try the the GUI..

1. Open policy
2. Double Click client
3. Highlight client name
4. Click Delete button..

Is it at that point you get the "exceed limit" prompt?

Hi 104addo,

I'd already deleted the client's backup policy from the GUI(jnbSA) but I have just discovered that the Bare Metal Restore policy for this client is still active. Is there a seperate GUI or command to remove this ?
