I have XP Pro SP2 machines logging into a W2K domain. Many users log into each machine. It seems huge amounts of data are stored for each user locally. Is there a relatively fast way to delete all that junk at once?

I am not a script writer, but if someone thinks a script is the way to go, please point me in the right direction.

I think Ad-Aware SE might do the trick, but since I use the free version, I don't think I'm allowed to put it on all those machines.

You can limit the size of the Internet Cache by opening IE and selecting Tools, Internet Options, General tab and clicking on Settings and assigning a much smaller amount of disk space to the cache. Although I have Gigs of disk space, I find that 40MB is more than sufficient for anyone.

You're thinking of deleting cookies on each client machine when the user logs in? It might save space on each machine... but a lot of people are going to be pissed off. Everytime they try to login to Tek-Tips.com they will have to enter their username and password again.
