How to delete a line in msconfig?

Now proven....I don't know WHAT THE HELL I'm doing.

Went into msconfig. Under win.ini tab, windows section, this is what it said:

load=WSPLOAD.EXE
run=
device=Canon i850,CJPDRV4B,LPT1:

So what did I do?

I unchecked the device (because I'm having trouble with my printer...see "invalid vxd thread"), the Canon printer, and rebooted. What happened? I again ran msconfig AND, NOW, when I go back into it, the Canon i850 line is listed twice, one box still unchecked, the other, the new repeat line, checked. So now I have the damn thing listed twice and I don't know how to get rid of the new, second unneed device= line. How do I delete one of these line?

NOTE: As mentioned, all of this is related to a blue- screen-of-death windows-error screen I'm trying to fix. But, now, of course, in attempting to fix that problem, I'm just digging myself in worse. If you know how to fix this msconfig problem, and you think you know stuff, also try
helping me with the blue screen....I DARE YOU!

Hello needyduke,

Do you know what is wspload.exe? Why it gets there?

regards - tsuji

O.K. Number one. I got the line deleted. To clarify, the line I changed was in the "system config utility" box when you run msconfig. I did it by rebooting into DOS and running "scanreg", and then just restoring the registry to yesterday.

Tsuji, I have no idea what wspload.exe is. I going to do a google search on it as soon as I post here.

So, I fixed this problem. But, still, I haven't fixed my invalid vxd dynamic link problem (see the thread)...please read that thread and help me if you can.
