HOW TO CUSTOMIZE CRYSTAL REPORT

Hello Expert,

I have application using cr8.5 in generating reports, my client wants that he will be the one to customize reports by dragging fields on the report or rearrange the position of the fields in report.. Please help me on how do this with in vfp.. thanks

If you use the "Embeddable Crystal reports 8.5 designer control" Activex on an form, this would allow the client to design their own reports, and if you use a pageframe, you can make the page 2 pf the pageframe the "preview mode" of the report.

That requires that you distribute the Embeddable Designer. To allow this capability, you will need to obtain additional licensing from Crystal Decisions. If it's something your client wants, you should be able to pass the additional costs on to them.
