Hi
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to set up a public/internet domain server. I've got 2 servers with public IP addresses both with DNS running. One is a primary and one a secondary. The zone transfer is fine between them and nslookup works fine.
BUT when I try to use them as the DNS servers for a domain name I registered I am told they are not correctly configured.
What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do?

Thanks in advance
Chris

If you truely want to maintain your own public DNS for your domain, you will need to notify the registrar of your domain of the IP addresses of your servers to set the SOA. Don't know if you did this already.
