how to create:eek:ne mailbox,multiple users,on different pcs

Here is my problem, I'm asked to do what I beleive can be done but never done it. I need to create each user a mailbox from the original mailbox on their respective pc.

IE: one general mailbox for the receptionist but each employee need one with their own name and own pc. The catch is that there is only one email address for this company. They do not want to add other email addresses for the company.

Can someone help find an answer, thanks

I've probably misunderstood what your asking but here goes anyway:

If the only problem you have is that several users need to be able to access e-mail recieved for one external address, then my suggestion is to move that address to a public folder.

Once you've done that you can easily assign access to it and you won't have to change any user profiles for users to be able to open it. In my experience this is by far the simplest way.

If you also want the users to be able to reply then you can see instructions on setting it up within this document:

well you understood :)
now another question:

I was also asked not to able users to have attachments to their emails (less virus')...is there a way to do it?
thanks again

There's no way to do that within Exchange but there are some options available:

- If clients use Outlook 2002 then most harmful attachments will already be blocked. Otherwise you can download and install the security update for earlier versions of Outlook. see:
- You could get third party software to block attachments (such as MailSweeper)

- Have a virus scanner installed on your Exchange Server such as NAI GroupShield and then you won't have to block all attachments
