How to create new maintenance login user beside root

Hi,

Can someone tell me,How to

1.create new maintenance login user

2.And how can i change the login password for

both HICOM300 & HICOM150.

On the office range, there are only the set passwords that come with the system. Siemens have their own big secret one (woooo!), there is the engineering level pw, and a customer level pw.

You can change these as you like, but you cant create new logins.

You means i can only change the password for root right.

Can you show mw how to do it.

In the programming tool, on the transfer window, you will have the option of security. (It is underneath the Read/write database, online, maintenance and APS transfer options). You will the have the choice to change password. Its then just a case of entering the old one, and then re-erntering the new one twice.

Hi,
Recently i encounter a funny problem from hicom300 remote login.

Symptom : i am able to login via my office desktop pc modem to the system.But when i try to login via my laptop, i always received ' no carrier ' prompt from the remote hicom 300 modem.

My other colleges has no problem at all.

can someone show me what wrong with my laptop.and so far i do not has problem logon remotely to other pabx.
