How to create a rich-text box?

I am new to VB.Net. I am working on an excercise to create a rich-text box in a form. Can anyone tell me how I can do this. There is not an option to insert a rich-text box from teh toolbox so I am kinda stuck.

There is a RichTextBox control on the toolbox, however if yours is misssing, open the toolbox and select the windows formss tab, right click beside any control and select add/remove items form the context menu. In the dialog that opens make sure the .Net tab is selected and scroll through for the RichTextBox.
